Why Love2Learn?
Love2Learn is independently owned, which means we have the freedom to structure our curriculum and environment so that it is tailored specifically for the needs of the students in our care. This flexibility allows us to focus on each individual student and utilize whatever tools or strategies are needed to create the best experience for everyone.
At Love2Learn, we pride ourselves on staying up-to-date on the latest parenting and child development research. We are highly influenced by philosophies such as Montessori, Conscious Discipline, and whole-child parenting. All of these frameworks are child-centered and hold respect for the child the highest priority.
A core belief at Love2Learn is that children learn best when they are in an environment of love and belonging. In order to access the parts of the brain that allow learning and development, the parts of the brain that require safety and acceptance must be tended to first. In other words, higher learning is only possible when children feel safe and loved. If these basic needs are not met, true learning cannot occur. Therefore we must feel love in order to learn.
Our goal is to provide parents with peace of mind that their children’s needs are being met and their growing brains are developing. Moms and Dads can focus on their daily tasks without worrying that their child is unhappy or falling behind. Our unique focus on attunement and learning fosters an environment that encourages students to feel confident to explore and grow.
